Research and Publications

  • Scholarly activities and research have been important to the Partnership from the beginning. There have been a number of educational projects for young scientists in Georgia, as well as training at Emory, collaborative research projects and on-site training in various aspects of research. A substantial number of jointly authored articles (over 30) in peer-reviewed medical journals have been published. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), notably the Fogarty International Center, participated in several research initiatives sponsoring fifteen Georgians to study at Emory.
